Community Involvement

At Sparkle & Sheen, we believe that being a part of the community is more than just providing a service. We see it as an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those around us. For us, community involvement is not just a marketing strategy, it is a heartfelt commitment to giving back and making a difference. We understand that our success is intertwined with the well-being of our community, and that is why we are dedicated to serving and supporting the people who make it great. We believe that by working together, we can create a brighter, cleaner, and more compassionate future for everyone.

Non-Perishable Food Drive

We have joined hands with the Edmonton Food Bank! We are collecting non-perishable goods, if you’re part of the Sparkle & Sheen family and would like to donate, please leave your non-perishable donations for your cleaning technician to collect during your next service. If you’d like to help but aren’t part of the Sparkle & Sheen family, we will accept donations at our office location! 14452 118 Avenue NW. Sparkle & Sheen is going to weigh the non-perishable donations every month, and donate an equal weight of perishable goods.

Pay-it Forward Services

We started our “Pay it Forward” service as a way to help out those needing an extra hand. If you know of someone who needs help cleaning their house, you can nominate them to receive a free deep clean on their home. We accept nominations all month long, we then read every nomination and pick one nominee to receive our “Pay it Forward” service. More information can be found here.

Canadian Blood Services

At Sparkle & Sheen, we are committed to giving back to our community and making a positive impact. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Canadian Blood Services to host our first-ever company blood drive! By donating blood, we are helping to save lives and support those in need. We believe that community involvement is an essential part of our corporate responsibility and we’re proud to support Canadian Blood Services in their efforts to ensure a reliable supply of blood and blood products for patients across Canada.

Helping Ukrainian Refugees

Last year we began accepting donations for Ukrainian citizens seeking refuge in Edmonton. We offered to accept donations in return for free cleaning. Thanks to everyone in the Sparkle & Sheen family, we were able to help many families and make their situation a little easier.

The Switzer Family

Our deepest condolences go out to the Switzer family. They recently lost their 15-year-old daughter to the extremely rare Labrune Syndrome, and their 18-year-old daughter is dealing with the same life-limiting disorder. The family is currently raising money to pay for medication that slows down the progression of the disease, unfortunately, the medication is $3000/week for one year.

We are raising money to help The Switzers get the medication their daughter requires.
